These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at www.letsdefend.in (the "Site"), operated by LetsDefend Infosec ("LetsDefend Infosec", "the Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a cybersecurity firm providing Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) advisory, Information Systems (IS) audits, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), managed security and monitoring, security consulting, and related security services (the "Services").

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

2. Who these terms apply to

The Site is intended for businesses and professionals evaluating or engaging our Services and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on that organisation's behalf.

3. Using this website

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site for your own personal or internal business purposes, such as learning about our Services and submitting an enquiry. This licence does not permit you to resell, sublicense, scrape, or otherwise commercially exploit the Site or its content without our prior written consent.

The content on this Site is provided for general information about LetsDefend Infosec and its areas of service. It is not a substitute for a scoped security assessment, a signed statement of work, legal advice, or advice tailored to your particular environment.

4. Acceptable use

As a security firm, we take misuse of computer systems seriously — including our own. When using the Site, you agree that you will not:

  • Probe, scan, penetration test, or attempt to test the vulnerability of the Site or any related system or network, or breach any security or authentication measures, without our prior written authorisation;
  • Use information obtained from this Site to test, access, or interfere with any system — ours or a third party's — without explicit authorisation from that system's owner;
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other code of a destructive or disruptive nature;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or its networks, including through denial-of-service activity or excessive automated requests;
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Site except for standard search-engine indexing;
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity; or
  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

Any authorised security assessment of our own environment must be agreed with us in writing and performed strictly within an approved scope under a responsible-disclosure or engagement agreement.

5. Our services & engagements

Submitting the contact form or otherwise enquiring through the Site does not create a client relationship, does not guarantee availability, and does not constitute acceptance of any statement of work. A potential engagement for VAPT, IS audit, GRC advisory, managed security, or any other Service begins only once scope, responsibilities, fees, and terms have been agreed in a separate, signed proposal, statement of work, or services agreement, which will govern that engagement and takes precedence over these Terms for the matters it covers.

6. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, the LetsDefend Infosec name and marks, layouts, and underlying code — are owned by or licensed to LetsDefend Infosec and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence in Section 3, nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership right to you, and you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission.

7. Enquiries & submissions

When you submit a message, enquiry, or other content through the Site, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not infringe any third party's rights. Please do not include passwords, credentials, or other sensitive or confidential information in a contact-form submission. See our Privacy Policy for how enquiry data is handled.

8. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites or resources. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site, and inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement. You access third-party sites at your own risk and subject to their own terms and policies.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We aim to keep this Site useful and accurate, but content may change and the Site may not always be available.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LetsDefend Infosec and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, and nothing here affects the separate liability terms agreed in a signed services agreement for an actual engagement.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LetsDefend Infosec harmless from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data submitted through the Site is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or restrict your access to the Site, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that may harm us, the Site, or other visitors. You may stop using the Site at any time.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Modasa, Gujarat, India, without prejudice to any statutory rights you may have to bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, Services, or legal and regulatory requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms; for material changes, we encourage you to review this page periodically.
